About ITI Boxanagar
ITI Boxanagar was established on 26th November, 2012 under Department of Industries & Commerce, Govt. of Tripura for running four trades initially in .......... 2012. There after a proposal was initiated under CSS "Establishment of ITI s in NER & Sikkim ". Which was approved and ready to implement at present. It is situated under Sepahijala District which is known as "L". The Institute has covered 2.44 acres of land including Administrative block, Workshops, Hostel building and playground etc. Presently our institute offers in six(4) trades affiliated under National Council for Vocational Training(NCVT) Govt. of India, which includes Engineering and non Engineering trades and also Short term Modular Employable Skills(MES) course under Skill Development Initiative Schemes(SDIS).
Government of India has selected ITI Boxanagar,In the this connection a society has been formed with Industry partner as the Chairman,Mr. Samar Ranjan Biswas,GM NEEPCO. To execute the project an Institute Management Committee(IMC) had formed and the IMC will guide and control the Institute to achieve development of multi skill trainees for the benefits of industry and the nation.
Our Mission
To facilitate training as per the Craftsman training scheme. To implement all training schemes of the Government of India in a meticulous and time bound manner. Ensure skill training is made available to maximum youth of the country.
Our Vision
To create a skilled and technically qualified workforce who would contribute to the growth and development of the nation. To provide quality training to all possible people so as to achieve the national goal of 500 million skilled persons by 2020 so as to reduce unemployment.
